Mailchimp Popup Loads Automatically

The popup displays on every page view. No button interaction is required.

📋 Instructions

1. Open browser DevTools (F12) → Console tab

2. Refresh the page; the popup should appear automatically

3. Confirm console log: Mailchimp check invoked; returning true

4. Verify globals: window.mc_button_clicked and window.checkMcButtonClicked()

5. Submit the form and ensure impressions record in Mailchimp

⚙️ Mailchimp Configuration

In your Mailchimp popup settings, set the targeting rule to:

return window.mc_button_clicked === true;

In the current deployment the targeting rule simply returns true so the popup shows on every page view.
